Title: Day 8: Building Your Network Marketing Business With Goal Setting

1
My Challenge - Day 8
  • Building Your
  • Network Marketing Business
  • With Goal Setting

2
  • Today I want to talk about goal setting and the
power of accomplishments. What really got me
excited about this concept was the fact that I
was actually just driving and listening to an
audio. I love listening to audios, especially
    from success magazine.

3
  • This particular audio featured Darren Hardy and
Brian Tracy two of the most fundamental goal
setters whom Ive developed a personal trust and
    relationship with.

4
  • They talked about the fact that as human beings,
we dont really feel a sense of purpose or
accomplishment unless we are going towards
    something fulfilling.

5
  • I think thats one of the magical things about
goal setting. Were able to take something that
we truly believe in and are passionate about, and
then translate it into a goal. You just need to
make yourself accountable each and every day.

6
  • I know often times it can be very difficult. Ive
had people ask, Why do I need to write my goals
down when I can simply keep them in my head?

7
  • When you actually put your pen to paper, its a
very different thing. Its a transformational
reality that you experience. You actually get
your goals and ideas down in front of you.

8
  • What I like to do whenever I try to start a new
    goal is to brainstorm.
  • What is it I want to accomplish?
  • What is it that is meaningful in this project?

9
  • What do I want to spend most of my time and
    attention on?
  • What is going to make the biggest impact, not
just in my own life but also the people I
    surround myself with?

10
  • The more successful you become, the more people
are going to be watching you. If you want to be
the type of person that is a role model, think
about how you come across to them.

11
  • Do you have goals that are meaningful? Do these
goals get you to stay up late, and wake up early
    in the morning?

12
  • I can tell you from experience, people that are
successful and making big waves always come with
a purpose. They walk differently, talk
    differently, and theyre more engaged.

13
  • Its a different sort of personality that makes
them attractive. Its why you see people in
    different network companies that automatically
have this ability to attract everyone on demand.

14
  • Weve talked about personal development, but goal
setting is one of the root areas you want to be
able to focus on. If you get clarity of purpose,
then life becomes much easier. When you have that
clarity, everything just makes more sense.

15
  • Like I said, youre going to have some type of
daily method of operation, whether thats writing
a blog post, advertising or writing a new book.
Whatever the case, all those goals need to be in
alignment with what your overall objective is.

16
  • Its not just for individuals either. When I
worked at companies like Google, Adobe, or AOL,
you had to get that clarity too.

17
  • You needed to know exactly what you were doing so
that when everyone is aligned, things get
accomplished. If they didnt have their act
together, things typically starts to decline.

18
  • So, you always want to be tracking and assessing
where you are throughout that process. One of the
most profound things that I ever did was rather
than absorbing audio information and reading
    materials, I took action.

19
  • Its the one thing that you must do, and the one
thing that I kept thinking about. Is the point of
it just to feel good and inspired, or is it to
take massive action? When I finally decided to
take action, things started to change.

20
  • I went through this process of about 6-9 months
where I was just basically listening to all these
audios. I felt great, but the problem was I
wasnt acting on anything I was just observing.

21
  • It had to change. I needed to do whatever I could
to make it to the next transition. If youre
taking action, make sure youre doing it
consistently. You need to keep yourself
    accountable.

22
  • My current personal goal is to make 30 500 a
month. Im on track to do so, and I know exactly
    what I need to do.

23
  • Ive written my daily method of operation, so now
its just a matter of execution. I have to take
those concepts and ideas and put them into work.
Thats exactly what I want you to do as well.

24
  • Get a pen and paper and spend 10-20 minutes
writing down exactly what it is that you want to
accomplish over the next 90 days. 90 days is a
meaningful time frame it gives you a chance to
really track and measure what it is youre doing
    on a daily basis.

25
  • I also recommend you pick up this book called
Living Your Best Year Ever by Darren Hardy. It
really goes over how you can stay on track, and
be consistent with your actions every day.

26
  • So, once you have a chance to do that, make sure
to let me know your personal goals and ambitions.
Id love to hear them. Perhaps I can help you
    become accountable.

27
  • If you have any other questions, feel free to
    reach out to me.
  • See you tomorrow!
