12
Exercise Milestones
  • Planning
  • Purpose determine all participating agencies and
level of desired play collect information and
determine specific exercise requirements for each
participating agency, and discuss types of
threats and CBRNE agents preferred. Identify
exercise facilities to be utilized during the 2 ½
    day event. Conduct regional familiarization,
including picture taking, with view towards
identifying areas of potential risk, or those
    considered critical, strategic, historic or
    symbolic.
  • Attendees limited numbers of discipline specific
individuals, with knowledge of unique exercise
    requirements and region response capabilities.
    An exercise design team.

Can provide one Public Health version. 40
    participants maximum per session.
  • SOW. Targeted for elected, appointed or
managerial personnel. 6 hours, /_. Is not an
ICS equivalency. Provides insight into a
fictional, but highly realistic, WMD response
using power point show with embedded
    audio-visual. 30 participants maximum per
    session.
  • PIO. Ideal for any personnel who might find
themselves in front of a camera, speaking as a
jurisdiction spokesperson, or who has media
relations as a possible collateral duty. Press
    releases, media releases, emergency public
    information, conferences, myriad of useful
information provided. 40 participants maximum per
    session.
