Dynamics
  • Dynamics is the study of forces which cause
    motion.
  • Dynamics deals with the cause of motion (forces)
    rather than motion itself.

Gravitational Force
  • The first one I would like to talk about is
    gravitational. Gravitational is the smallest most
    observable interaction you can see. Say we had
    two tennis balls that where held only one meter
    apart the gravitational force between the is
    0.00000000001 Newtons.

Electric Force
  • Electric force on the other hand, unlike
    gravitational force, can be very large. Say we
    added an extra atom to the two tennis balls, in
    result of it the electronic force between them
    would be 500000000000000000000 newtons.

Magnetic Force
  • Magnetic force is very closely related to
    electric force. They are both very large in
    comparison to gravitational forces. Actually,
    magnetic forces are produced by moving electric
    charges. This relationship isnt actually
    completely understood.

Nuclear and Weak Reactions
  • Despite being very tiny the nuclear forces are
    much stronger than any other forces. The nuclear
    force holds the nucleus of an atom together.
    Today, nuclear power plants use this energy to
    provide electricity for some cities.
  • Scientists also believe that a second force
    exists with in the nucleus. This is called weak
    interaction force. It is actually believed to be
    the cause of some atoms breaking apart.

Newtons First Law
  • Newtons first law states that an object in
    motion tends to stay in motion and an object at
    rest tends to stay at rest unless acted upon by
    an outside force. An example of this would be if
    a soccer ball was kicked it would keep going
    unless you stopped it.

Newtons Second Law
  • Newtons second law states that the acceleration
    of an object produced by a total applied force is
    directly related to the magnitude of the force .
    An example of this would be if you where pulling
    a box you would get more acceleration on it if
    the box was smaller rather than larger.

Newtons Third Law
  • Newtons third law states that for every action
    there is an equal and opposite reaction. An
    example of this would be if you where sitting in
    a chair, you would be giving off a downward force
    and the chair would be giving off an opposing
    force.

FMA
  • FMA is how Newtons second law of motion is
    most often written. An example of this would be
    like if you wanted to hit a baseball you would
    either have to increase your bat speed or get a
    bat that has more mass. Therefore the more mass
    or acceleration you have the more force youll
    have.

  • MF/A . An example of this would if you had a lot
    of force and acceleration you would have a lot of
    mass.

    lot of force and mass you would have a lot of
    acceleration.
