planes and trains from bringing medicine to
Nome. The medicine is in Anchorage, which is 800
miles away from Nome. Gunnar Kasson couldnt see
through the snow to guide his dog team. While
the team is traveling across the ice, the ice
starts to break. The storm causes Gunnars team
to miss the next town.
