• Improve pedestrian bicycle travel
• Install network of multi-use trails across Aboite
  Township serving bicyclists, runners,
  walkers,wheelchairs, in-line skaters, strollers,
  cross-country skiers.
• Link neighborhoods to schools, parks, YMCA,
  retail areas, places of work, etc.

Plan for the Future

• Comprehensive trails projects are typically years
  in the making
• We are actively planning for future trails while
  pursuing construction opportunities that exist
  now.
• If we dont plan now, we will miss prospects for
  trails that may arise down the road

Road (over I-69) provides a concrete reminder of
a strong commitment to Aboite's future.  Today
the sidewalks on that bridge are strips that dead
end.  Tomorrow they can link neighborhoods with
businesses, restaurants, parks...."
