• ProcessModel believes in empirical research as a
  part of business process improvement and process
  simulation. Measurement, experimentation, and
  modeling are important aspects of empirical
  research. The evidence gained through research is
  dependent on the context. Thus, the results and
  capitalization upon them is not easy to combine.
  These issues can be addressed through process
  simulation model GENSIM 2.0 to address these
  challenges. GENSIM is a process simulation model
  of generic type which represents the V-model type
  software development processes as process mapping
  software. GENSIM 2.0 has twofold novelty as
  compared to the existing process simulation
  models. First, the model structure of GENSIM can
  be customized to organization-specific processes.
  By using a limited set of generic structures or
  macro-patterns the customization cab be achieved.
  Second, the calibration of its model parameters
  can be done to available empirical data and
  expert knowledge.
