  • Extremist Osama bin Laden took credit for the
    attacks.
  • The US quickly sent troops to Afghanistan to find
    bin Laden.
  • The US also invaded Iraq since they felt there
    was a connection.
  • Hussein was captured, but bin Laden still remains
    at large
