• Made out of distilled or fermented ethanol,
  alcohol is easily absorbed by the blood and
  therefore quickly travels to the brain. Once it
  reaches the brain, it functions as a neuron
  transmitter depressant. Meaning, the neurons
  which are the messengers in the brain slow down
  or become unable to function in a normal way,
  making the reaction time of the consummate slow.
  The individual under the effect of alcohol will
  find it hard to concentrate and will feel like
  they are floating. This is because the mind
  becomes unable to direct the movement of the body
  parts.
