Wax Casting

• Wax casting is widely used in vinyl doll
  molding made of hard/soft or silicon vinyl
  material.
• Compare with injection molding, wax molding
  can be considered as traditional process with
  inexpensive mold investment and simpler making
  procedure which is widely used in those vinyl
  doll development without article fully joint.

Wax Casting

• Prototype sample made of polymer clay provided
  by customer.
• Wax mold been sculptured accordingly. If wax
  sample can be supplied directly which can save on
  molding time and cost.
• Wax mold normally will take 15 days to finish.

Wax Casting

• Copper mold plating process. In this process,
  when wax mold be put into plating pond, through
  chemical effect, accompany with wax material
  being melted, copper material will be covered on
  the surface of wax mold and form new metal mold
  finally.

Wax Casting

• When original copper mold be made which can be
  used into vinyl production immediately. Though
  one copper mold can only produce about 250
  pieces. In case more quantity requirement,
  production mold will be copied.
• When skin tone be mixed according to customers
  color swatch,try out sample will be ready.

Injection Molding

• This is the way the material is injected under
  pressure into a two-part steel mold. The material
  is allowed to cool, the mold is opened, and the
  solid product inside is ejected.
• Injection molding is usually applied to Barbie
  like fashion vinyl doll series with fully
  jointed.
