  • Kindergarten classes are held in all of the
  • districts K-5 elementary schools.
  • Each kindergarten child attends either a morning
    or afternoon class.
  • Each session is 2 hours and 45 minutes long.

TRANSPORTATION
  • All students are eligible for busing
  • AM/PM bus routes are generalized population
  • Mid-day routes kindergarten specific
  • Kindergarteners sit in the front
  • Child care accommodations are accommodated as
    long as the child care provider is within the
    home school district.
  • Students are assigned by July 15, 2008
  • NO KINDERGARTEN STUDENT IS LEFT AT A STOP WITH
    OUT SOMEONE AT THEIR STOP

Meet Greet
  • In line with our district mission statement, all
    entering kindergarten students will participate
    in a Meet Greet session. The Meet and Greet
    will last approximately 15 minutes. The
    kindergarten teacher will use the information to
    assist in meeting the individual needs of your
    child. This information will not be used to
    track or group children by ability.
  • All students must be accompanied by an adult for
    the duration of the Meet and Greet.

    monitor class/student independent learning
    outcomes.

    in kindergarten.
