• M1 Humanities Lectures
• M2 6-week elective lead by Lutheran
  Minister/part-time Hospice chaplain
• M3/M4 Geriatric rotation option
• Mandatory rotations at the VA need I say more?

What I can do?

Death Dying Interest Group

• Intro Lunch for first meeting.
• Monthly meetings with different guest
  speakers/discussions (cookies provided)
• Visit support groups
• M3/4 monthly meeting to discuss dead/dying
  patients in safe setting
• Death Call on FP rotation with Hospice doc

Evening Forum

• Newly formed DDIG will work with Empower to
  sponsor student/faculty forum on cultural
  religious perspectives on death and dying
  (follow-up to previous years panel on religion)
• Food draw pot-luck treats and eats

Curricularly

• Add To Live Until I Die to M1 Humanities
• Hospice Volunteering as Humanities elective
• Add M1 Phys lecture on phys of dying
• Add M2 Pharm lecture on narcotics and other
  medicinal options in pain management and at EOL
• Add elective 2 week Hospice rotation in 4th year
