  • Each VCC output consists of its inputs and any
    cascaded inputs from previous modules. Each
    module provides both DVI and VGA outputs.

Entertainment Series
  • The entertainment modules are the latest member
    in the Avitech family of multi-image display
    products. It is suited for Home Entertainment
    and restaurants and sports Bars that would like
    to display Component HD sources such as from
    Satellite set-top boxes along with computer
    generated signals and traditional analog
    composite sources.
  • Depending on the model, the entertainment modules
    can handle component HD, computer input from RGB
    or DVI and analog video inputs can be composite,
    YC, or component.
  • Outputs are RGB and DVI. The output resolution
    scales from 852x480 up to 1600x1200 at either 43
    or 169 aspect ratio. This is the module for the
    21st Century of Media entertainment.

This will identify it as the first module in the
software. Make sure to change the ID of every
additional module in the group in increments of
1, i.e. the next module will have ID 1.

dongle for display groups 5, 6, 7, and 8.

when adding a new display group is to set the
Rotary ID Switch of the new module to 0.

The second step is to connect a male end of the
RS-485 cable to the modules Com A port and the
female end to the 2nd port on the RS-485 dongle.

The third step is the connect the second DVI
cable labeled 2/4 from the controller to the
Cascade In on the module. If the controller is
running, make sure to restart windows so plug and
play detects the new port.

Cascading MCC modules with VCC modulesWhen
cascading MCC modules with VCC modules in the
same group, it is important that all VCC modules
are on the bottom of the stack followed by the
MCC modules.

The first step is to set the Rotary ID on the VCC
module to 0 and on the MCC module to 1.

The second step is to connect the male end of the
RS-485 cable labeled Port 2 to Com A of the
second module (MCC module). Also connect the DVI
cable labeled 2/4 to Digital Cascade of the first
module (VCC module). Then use the RS-485 looping
cable to cascade the serial inputs.

The third step is to use the 1 ft. DVI-D cable to
cascade the two modules.

Finally, connect your sources and the output to
the display and you are ready to proceed to the
