There are 8 different types of Bears in the world

• American Bear
• Brown Bear
• Polar Bear
• Giant Pandas
• Asiatic Black Bears
• Sloth Bear
• Spectacled Bear
• Sun Bear

American Bear

• 5-6 feet long and 200-300 pounds.
• Can run up to 25 mph
• Vary skillful tree climbers
• Live mostly in Northern USA and Canada.

Brown Bear

• 6-8 feet tall and can weigh up too 500 lbs.
• Smartest bear.
• Live in Canada and Northern Eurasia.
• Worlds largest land carnivore.

Polar Bear

• 8-11 feet long and up too 1000 pounds, the worlds
  biggest bears.
  
• Best swimmers of all bears.
• Live in the Artic circle

Giant pandas

• 4-6 feet long weighing up too 350 pounds.
• Spends 14 hours of its day eating 50-60 pounds of
  bamboo.
  
• Found Only in the mountains of Central China.
• Going extinct, only 1000 left in the wild.

Asiatic Black Bear

• About 5 feet long and about 250 pounds.
• Builds it self a nest like bed and sleeps in
  trees.
  
• More fierce than most bears.

Sloth Bear

• About 5 feet long and weighs 200-300 pounds.
• Has long snout that allows it to eat ants,
  termites, and bees.
  
• Lives in tropical forests of India, Sri Lanka and
  Nepal.

Spectacled Bear

• About 5 feet long and 200-300 pounds.
• Lives in Northwest South America in remote
  forests of the Andes.
  
• Only bear that lives in South America.

Sun Bear

• Only 3-4 feet long and 60-100 pounds (smallest
  bear).
  
• They sleep during the day and eat insects and
  fruit during night.
  
• Lives in tropical forests of Southeast Asia.
• Endangered because of poaching.
