How to Procede?

• Wrote an editorial in local paper
• Created flyers for door-to-door distribution
• Handed out yard signs to users in
  community
• Presented information to local Village Boards

Results

• Referendum passed, 62 to 38
• In Belgium, it passed overwhelmingly by 74.7
• Planning commission reviewed results

• Now counties set aside specific amount for
  replacement bookmobile

• Joined the Board of Trustees
• Member of the Planning Committe
• Supporter of library initiatives
• Remain active volunteer in local education to
  support reading in young children
