The Fine Art of Bazi, Feng Shui, and Qi Men Dun
Jia
  • Many of the ancient Asian sciences are, to
outsiders, full of mystery and enigma. But in the
Asian culture they are powerful sciences that
many of the people rely upon and turn to for
advice and guidance in all aspects of their
lives. The science of Bazi is a traditional
Chinese analysis that charts a person's destiny.

2
  • When it is translated to English, it means "
Eight Characters" but its also know as the Four
Pillars of Destiny. This science analyzes a
person's birth year, month, day and time which
are then put into four pairs which is where the
name Four Pillars originated from. The
information received from a reading is used to
help see our destiny in aspects of life such as
    relationships, health, and career.

3
  • Another popular science that is more widely heard
is Feng Shui. It is a system of geomancy of
Chinese origin that translates as "wind-water" in
English. It's first use was finding correlations
between humans and the universe. Now, Feng Shui
is generally used to orient buildings so that
    positive energy may flow.

4
  • Qi Men Dun Jia, is based on astronomical
observations and is practiced by Singapore,
China, and Taiwan. The name translates to
"wondrous door hides jia". Qi Men Dun Jia is used
in match making, crime solving, personal fortune
and the military. This form of divination is not
based on the Western concept of time, and it can
    have characteristics and different qualities.

5
  • All of these Asian sciences are very popular with
the people of their culture. While they aren't
based on factual science, the people who practice
these different forms believe they're very
important to understanding one's destiny and the
questions of life. Each is unique in its own way
and can take many many years to master and
    understand the concept.
