Title: stars say they haven't had surgery and we believe them
1These stars say they havent had surgery
and we believe them
2Cate Blanchett has long been an opponent of
plastic surgery recently telling blog
Fashionista Id just be too frightened about
what it means long term. In the world of showbiz
shes seen more than her fair share of post-op
stars and its not a good look as she once told
the Herald Sun You look at a man or a woman in
their 50s and all I see when theyve brushed it
all away (with surgery) is self-obsession and
fear and thats not particularly attractive.
3Brad Pitt knows hes a hottie Im one of those
people you hate because of genetics. And while
hes aware that even the devastatingly good
looking cant avoid the realities of ageing he
isnt a fan of trying to reverse it with surgery
as he once told Details Magazine. One thing
sucks your face kind of goes. Your bodys not
quite working the same. But you earned it. You
earned that - things falling apart.
4Eva Longoria her looks takes your breath away
but the television star swears shell never get
so desperate that shell mess with the face she
was born with. God blessed me with some great
unique features some beautiful in my eyes and
some not so beautiful. I have no desire to
tamper with that.
5Halle Berry has one of the worlds most
recognisable faces and she doesnt want anyone
else trying to copy it! You have this plastic
very much copy-cat sort of face thats evolving
and thats very frightening to me she has been
reported as saying in regards to plastic surgery.
Its really insane and I feel sad that thats
what society is doing to women.
6Heidi Klum supermodel Heidi Klum is still
radiant as ever and knows that her anti-cosmetic
surgery views are the exception in the world of
showbiz. Ask me again when Im 65 but Im proud
to be able to say in this day and age I havent
done anything she told Allure Magazine this
year. Everyone has a view of whats pretty and
whats not pretty and surgery just doesnt
look pretty to me.
7Julianne Moore at 51 Julianne Moore is still
sizzling hot all without ever having gone under
the knife. In 2010 The Daily Mail quoted her as
saying about cosmetic surgery I dont believe
it makes people look better. I think it just
makes them look like they had something done to
their face and I dont think we find that
instinctually appealing.
8Julia Roberts nobody on the planet is going to
deny that Julia Roberts is one Pretty Woman and
if her comments to Elle Magazine are anything to
go by her looks are 100 natural. Its
unfortunate that we live in such a panicked
dysmorphic society where women dont even give
themselves a chance to see what theyll look like
as older persons. I want my kids to know when Im
pissed when Im happy and when Im confounded.
Your face tells a story ... and it shouldnt be a
story about your drive to the doctors office.
9Kate Winslet she is one of the most outspoken
actresses on the issue of plastic surgery and
has sworn never to cave in to the pressure. Last
year the Telegraph reported Kate as saying It
goes against my morals the way that my parents
brought me up and what I consider to be natural
beauty. Kate considers her body tools of the
trade that shouldnt be tampered with. I am an
actress I dont want to freeze the expression of
my face.
10Kevin Costner he is quickly moving into silver
fox territory and has stated that when it comes
to his looks what you see is what you get. I am
never going for a hairpiece dye or nips and
tucks. You will always have to take me as you
find me. We all have our vanity. We can all hear
whispers. In my case they still say Hes
taller than I thought. But there will come the
day when they will say He is much older than I
remember him.
11Charlize Theronshe claims that up till now her
face hasnt made contact with the surgeons
knife but is realistic about the possibility of
bowing to the pressures of Hollywood as she ages.
I cant foresee myself ever going under the
knife but then again Im only in my
mid-thirties the blonde stunner told Interview
Magazine this year. Maybe its different when
youre in your mid-sixties.
