About Edward Tuccio

• An experienced real estate professional and
  has been working as the Chief Financial Officer
  of Tuccio Development, Inc. since 1996.
• He ran the NYC marathon in 1993 and is also
  Ridgefield hockey coach and baseball coach.

Work Experience

• Ed Tuccio dedicatedly works with Junior Diabetes
  Research Foundation (JDRF) to fulfill their goal
  of finding a cure for diabetes and its
  complications through the support of research.
• He has been a JDRF member Fairfield County since
  1998 which is one of the leading organization
  focused on end to type 1 diabetes through both
  research funding and advocacy.
• The organizations success is driven by
  passionate volunteers connected to children,
  adolescents and adults with this disease.

His Role Towards JDRF

• JDRF conducts fundraising events such as The
  Walk to Cure Diabetes and The Ride to Cure
  Diabetes and these are open to public
  participation.
• Ed Tuccio was one of the walkers who walked and
  volunteered their time at Cranbury Park in
  Norwalk to raise money to fight diabetes.
• Inspite of being diagnosed with diabetes at the
  age of 12 he continued to play his part to raise
  money to fight against this disease.

Tuccio Development

• His company, Tuccio Development was the
  presenting sponsor of Bill McMahon IV Golf
  Classic tournament.
• This tournament helped to raise funds for
  research to find a cure for diabetes. It was very
  successful and raised 95,000 for diabetes
  research.
• The first Golf Classic was initiated in 1989 and
  was named for Bill McMahon, an avid golfer who
  was first diagnosed at the age of 8 with type 1
  juvenile diabetes.
