    the world (more than a billion people.)
  • Countries in the region area Pakistan,
    Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and the
    Sri Lanka Island.

Famous Attractions -India
  • Some famous attractions in India include The Old
    City of Delhi, Lal Quila, Taj Mahal, Banaras
    Ghats, Kazaranga National Park. The Old City of
    Delhi is where the capital of India is. Lal Quila
    is in the capital and is known as one of the
    largest monuments there. Taj Mahal is an ancient
    city of Agra. Banaras Ghats is one of the oldest
    and holists cities in India. Kazaranga National
    Park Is in the banks of the Brahmaputra River and
    it has to do rainforests and sprawling grass
    lands and other types of habitats.

Famous Attractions - Pakistan

Some of the primary attractions includeunique
mountains, valleys, and glaciers. Most of the
attractions have to do with nature.The Indus
Valley Civilization is another attraction.
Considered as one of the most spectacular ancient
cities in the world. The Civilization expands
through 2 cities in Pakistan.

Sri Lanka Tea and Tragedy
  • Sri Lanka is the largest tea exporter.
    Plantations in the center of the island.
  • Woman traditionally pick the tea- only selecting
    the delicate young shoots.

Nepal Hike the Himalayas!
  • The Himalayas are in The city of Nepal. Some
    mountains in the Himalayas are Mount Everest. The
    word Himalaya means home of the snows. Another
    mountain in that region is Mount Fuji, even
    though thats in Japan. The Himalayas dont have
    any trees above 10,000 feet. Everything on that
    mountain range is covered in snow. Since the
    Himalayas take up most of that city the
    population there isnt as high and most of the
    people live in small valleys and grow crops.

Festivals
  • In February, Texans celebrate New Year and honor
    cultures from China, Hawaii/Polynesia, Pakistan,
    India/Asia, Japan, the Philippines, Korea,
    Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan. To
    celebrate they dance and do native crafts.This
    is called the Asian Festival. More festivals
    celebrated include Cinco de Mayo and the Muslim
    Cultures Festival.
