  • Its about four hobbits who go on a quest.
  • They go with eight other people to destroy a
    ring.
  • The ring was once owned by Sauron.
  • It needs to be cast into Mount Doom.
  • If Sauron gets it, then Middle-Earth will be no
    more.

  • The books are very complex.
  • Some people say that the characters come alive.
  • They can feel the characters emotions.

  • The story takes place in Middle-Earth.
  • There are many types of races in Middle-Earth.
  • There are Elves, Dwarves, Men, Orcs,and Ents.
  • There are also Balrogs, Dragons, and Hobbits.
  • Middle-Earth has mountains, rivers, cities,etc.
    that are weirdly named.
