Intro
  • Blake Shelton is here to show you a tour of the
solar system. We will have lots of stops so
have fun!!! So enjoy!!!! ? lt3
  • Also if you have any question feel free to ask.

3
The Sun
  • Blake The Sun
  • The sun is the star in the center of the solar
system. It is the hot star in the solar system.
Its atmosphere is compact with five principal
zones such as temperature minimum, chromosphere,
transition region, corona, and heliosphere. It
doesnt have any moons or rings.

4
mercury
  • Blake Inner Planet
  • Mercury is the first planet of the solar system.
It doesnt have an atmosphere. It doesnt have
any moons. It has a rocky body like the Earth. It
is the smallest planet in the solar system. It
    doesnt have any rings.

5
Venus
  • Blake Inner Planet
  • Venus is the second planet in the solar system.
Its atmosphere is made up of 96.5 carbon dioxide
and 3.5 nitrogen. Venus and the Earth are sister
planets because of there size and gravity pull.
It doesnt have any moons. It doesnt have any
    rings.

6
Earth
  • Blake Inner Planet
  • Earth is the third planet in the solar system.
Its atmosphere is made up of 78 nitrogen, 21
oxygen, 0.94 argon, 0.03 carbon dioxide, and
many more traces of other gases. It is the
largest inner planet. 71 of the Earth is made up
of salt and fresh water and 29 made up of land.
    It doesnt have any rings.

7
The Moon
  • Blake The Moon
  • This is Earths moon. It is part of the inner
planets. It is nearly vacuum, sodium, and
potassium. It contains solid pools of basaltic
lava. The inner core of the moon is really small.

8
Mars
  • Blake Inner Planet
  • Mars is the fourth planet in the solar system. It
has two moons. It doesnt have any rings. It has
a thin atmosphere with about 95.32 carbon
dioxide. It has a rocky body like the Earth.

9
Jupiter
  • Blake Outer Planet
  • Jupiter is the fifth planet in the solar system.
It has 16 large moons but In total it has 63
moons. It also has four rings. Mostly hydrogen
and helium are in the atmosphere. It has
    continuous storm swirls.

10
Saturn
  • Blake Outer Planet
  • Saturn is the sixth planet in the solar system.
It has 62 known moons orbiting the planet, but 53
are officially named. The largest moon is called
Titan. It has seven rings. Saturn has a thick
atmosphere that is made up mostly of hydrogen and
    helium.

11
Uranus
  • Blake Outer Planet
  • Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system.
It has one ring. It has 27 moons and possibly
still counting. Uranuss atmosphere is composed
of hydrogen, helium and methane. Its axis
rotation is tilted on its side.

12
Neptune
  • Blake Outer Planet
  • Neptune is the eighth planet in the solar system.
It has 13 moons. It doesnt have any rings. The
atmosphere is composed of hydrogen, helium and
methane (which causes its bluish-color.) Has dark
colored storms in the atmosphere. It is 17 times
    the size of Earth.

13
Pluto Dwarf Planet
  • Blake Outer Planet
  • Pluto the Dwarf planet is the somewhat ninth
planet in the solar system. It has three moons.
Where Pluto is so far away it is hard to tell if
it has rings or not but it is possible. Has a
thin envelope of nitrogen, methane and carbon
    dioxide gases in its atmosphere.

14
Asteroids
  • Blake Asteroids
  • Orbits around the sun. Most are located in an
area between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Is a
somewhat Inner Planet. No moons. There are
millions of asteroids in various sizes. The 3
largest are like miniature planets. Ceres is the
largest. The next largest are Vesta, Pallas, and
    Hygiea.

15
Comets
  • Blake Comets
  • Located in the Solar System. Is a somewhat Inner
Planet. No moons. Comets are distinguished from
asteroids by the presence of a coma or tail.
Short period comets have orbital periods of less
than 200 years. Comet nuclei are composed of
rock, dust, water, ice, frozen gases.

16
Meteoroids Meteorites
  • Blake Meteoroids Meteorites
  • Located in the Solar System. Is a somewhat Inner
plant. Has no moons. Smaller than an asteroid but
larger than an atom. Sand to boulder-size
particles of debris in the Solar System.
