• Outline how elections will be run

Executive Board

• President - Responsibilities include
• Oversee actions of executive board
• Speak directly with chairs of social committee
  and graduate students
• Run all monthly Mitte meetings
• Oversee the Circle of Excellence Awards

Executive Board

• VP of Community Relations - Responsibilities
  include
• Assist the community service committee chair
• Recognize worthwhile projects for society members
• Organize and schedule members for volunteer
  events
• Keep in contact with Jim Johnson about individual
  member volunteer hours

Executive Board

• VP of Finance - Responsibilities include
• Act as a treasurer and secretary
• Oversee meetings and finance committee meetings
• Record monthly meeting minutes
• Contact society members with reminders, updates,
  and volunteer ops

• VP of Technology - Responsibilities include
• Maintain Mitte society website and update on a
  weekly basis
• Create all marketing materials
• Oversee technology marketing committee
• Design all PowerPoint presentations with
  suggestions from meetings committee

Committees

• Committee Chairs -
• 5 committee chairs will be appointed by the
  Executive Board
• 1 year term
• Responsibilities include
• Lead a team of 3 or more members chosen at the
  discretion of the particular committee chair
• Invited to attend Executive Board meetings (not
  required)
• Attend and participate in monthly society
  meetings
• Inform society members of activity within the
  committee
• Update Executive Board of committee member
  participation

Elections

• How elections will be run
• Interested members should e-mail Executive Board
  within 24 hours of election to be deemed eligible
  (rule does not go into effect until after this
  years election process)
• Speeches
• Candidates can present speech up to 3 minutes
• Voting
• After speeches are given, members vote on new
  board
• Votes tallied by current board and checked by
  Mitte Fellow
• Mitte Fellow has option to accept or reject vote
  winner
• Results
• Results e-mailed to all members within a timely
  matter

• Define responsibilities of committee chairs
• 5 committee chairs appointed by Exec Board
• 1 year terms
• Choose at least 3 members for commitee
• Outline how elections will be run
• 24 hours before election contact Exec Board
• Speech up to 3 minutes
• Votes tallied by current board and checked by
  Mitte Fellow
• Mitte Fellow can accept or reject vote winner
