are cold and icy. Can you think of any animals
that might live in the artic?

Some animals live the rainforests. These areas
are very green and are full of trees and
wildlife. Can you think of any animals that might
live in the rainforest?

Some animals live in Illinois, the state that we
live in. Can you think of any animals that might
live in Illinois?

Some animals live in the ocean. The oceans are
made up of salt water. Can you think of any
animals that might live in the ocean?

Some animals lived many, many hundreds of years
ago. These animals are called prehistoric animals
because they lived so long ago. Can you think of
any animals that we might call prehistoric?

Some animals exist only in books and movies.
These animals are not real, but are found in
fairy tales and stories. Can you think of any
animals that do not really exist?
