  • Sharing illnesses
  • Noisy
  • Having a RA
  • Sharing a room
  • Communal Showers
  • You have a lot of rules to follow

  • Try to find small, independent landlords
  • Furnished apartments..save
  • Try to stay as close to campus
  • Ask friends about their Landlords
  • Leases are generally signed in March and run from
    August 1st-August 1st
  • Make arrangements w/ roommates about parties,
    guests, cleaning, smoking, food, etcBefore
    signing the lease, and get it all in writing
  • Do the move-in check sheet very carefully
  • Give each roommate a separate utility
