26Interpretations
- Issues Facing youth could be reduced by providing
stress-free youth oriented activities and
providing materials for ongoing programs. - Kids who dont or wont make school sport teams
want other alternatives such as CASA, traveling,
drop in, and intramurals. - Although leadership and mentoring are ranked low,
theyre found in other activities. - Organized and unorganized activities are needed
by youth. - Not knowing whats going on is a major limit on
participation. Providing ways to find out,
specifically a website would help. - Limits on participation for younger students
include transportation. Having activities within
walking distance or setting up carpools would
help.
