What is DocuSign?
DocuSign is an Online Document Signing Service.
Using a web browser from anywhere in the world,
your can electronically sign and initial any type
of document, creating a 100 legally binding
contract.

What makes it Legal?
Electronic signatures became legally binding in
the United States in October 2000, with the
passage of the Electronic Signature in Global and
National Commerce Act (ESIGN). This legislation
creates a uniform standard for all electronic
transactions and encourages the use of electronic
signatures, giving electronic signatures the same
legal effect as pen-and-paper signatures. The
DocuSign service exceeds all the legal
requirements of ESIGN and provides an efficient,
auditable process that conforms to the way people
actually do business.

How do I send from ZipForm?
From within the ZipForm application select
Filegtgtgt Electronic Signatures or the Electronic
Signatures icon in the toolbar.

How do I send from ZipForm?
Then deselect those forms you do not wish to
send.

How do I Send?
Start DocuSign will launch and take you to the
login screen. Upon logging in the envelope
wizard will appear immediately. The document will
appear in the envelope and then click Next.

PDF Upload Option
To add additional documents, click on Upload PDF
to add a document to your envelope without
printing to a DocuSign envelope. The system will
ask you to browse, search for the document and
upload it into your envelope.

Envelope Tracking
The DocuSign service will now request the
subject, customer and email text be filled in.
This information informs the recipient what the
email is regarding. Once field is completed
click Next.

Envelope Addressing
The recipient field needs to be completed.
Highlight the email under the Address Book and
add as a Recipient. Once field is completed
click Next.

Identifications
Access Code Is a word or phrase agreed upon with
the recipient beforehand are optional fields. ID
Check Verifies the recipient by asking them 6
background check questions to verify their
Identity. Once field is completed click Next.

Drag Stick-e Tabs
The service will now request you to drag tag
stick-e tabs onto your document. Once field is
completed click Next.

Confirm Information
Verify the information prior to sending. Once
verified click Send.

Envelope Sent
Once sent, an envelope id will be assigned for
tracking purposes.
