Step 1 APPLY TO EDUCATOR PREPARATION PROGRAM
( SUBMIT PAYMENT)

• On-Line through Sam Web
• Payment (75.00) by credit card
• preferred and faster
• Application is only complete after payment

Step 2 REGISTER FOR FIELD EXPERIENCE
(Must have applied and submitted payment to
Educator Preparation Program)

• Opens Tuesday Jan 24 (8 am)
• Closes Tuesday Jan 31 (5 pm)

Step 3 BE PROFESSIONAL

• Communicate with campus in advance
• (except the Boys and Girls Club)
• Ask for and follow FACULTY Dress Code
• Always present yourself as a professional
• Be early
• Have SHSU ID F.E. Badge Drivers License
• Sign in at front office
• Some districts (Willis ISD) require registering
  at the district office before first field
  experience

Step 4 COMPLETE FIELD EXPERIENCE (10 hours)

• Complete field experience as scheduled
• See calendar/handout for deadlines
• Absences/re-scheduling is cumbersome
• School officials sign documentation

Step 6 SUBMIT DOCUMENTATION TO OFFICE OF FIELD
EXPERIENCE

• Make copies for instructor and yourself
• Submit original documentation log and attach AEIS
  reports
• Do NOT submit reflections/assignments

Boys and Girls Club Information

• Takes place at Scott Johnson Elementary
• Please do NOT confirm
• Read the Handbook sign orientation
• Call only between 4-5 p.m.
• EED 374 can schedule early and late in semester
• SED 374 a 6-hour option
