Recent High School Incident - Safety Response
  • Consulted local authorities
  • Additional security or safety recommendations
    made by the local authorities were put in place
    prior to April 20th.
  • Teachers were asked to talk with their students
    and help alleviate any fears while, at the same
    time, encouraging students to come forward with
    any information or concerns.
  • An announcement was made to the entire student
    encouraging students to seek out any adults if
    they had apprehensions or fears. The
    announcement reaffirmed the schools commitment to
    student safety and encouraged the students to
    continue to promote a safe and positive climate
    at BHS.
