Facts about the Savannah
  • The Savannah is also known as The Grasslands.
  • Grasslands are grassy, windy, and partly-dry
    biomes.
  • There are not many trees, but lots of grass.
  • It is very hot and dry in the winter.
  • It rains a lot in the summer. Sometimes it even
    floods!

African Wild CatBy Wes
  • They are nocturnal in warm weather and diurnal
    during the cold.
  • They are excellent climbers and have a life span
    of 12 to 15 years.
  • They weigh 10 to 25 pounds.
  • They stay with their mother for 1 year after
    birth.
