Description of Malcolm X
  • Malcolm X was the most famous Black Muslim
and was important in the Civil Rights movement.
For many years, Malcolm experienced poverty,
violence, and racial discrimination in his life.
Malcolm X had a way with words so he talked his
way to an exemption of Americas WWII military
draft. Malcolm's leadership role brought him into
conflict with some of the Muslim leaders, who
criticized him for ignoring the original
religious purposes of the Muslims and being
influenced by politics. When in 1963 Malcolm
spoke of President Kennedys assassination, he
expressed that the hate of African Americans had
been responsible for the murder of the president,
his boycotts were suspended. In early 1965 he was
assassinated and he wasnt fully able to see his
dreams of equal rights. However his legacy for
Muslims and African Americans leave a huge
imprint, and well defend why he deserves to be
on the list on the concurring slides.
