Country Mexico Project Tree Planting Charity
involved Pronatura Number of VoluntEars
56 Event duration 5 hours
Event Description Disney employees gathered
with their families at Ajusco Medio in Mexico
City to plant 115 native species. The activity
started with an introduction from Pronatura
which explained to the VoluntEars the importance
of planting matorrales at this time of the year
and how does this benefit the environment. VoluntE
ars planted and watered the matorrales and
ended with a big picnic.

Country Argentina Project Coastal Clean
up Charity/Org involved Community Park Number of
VoluntEars 31 Event duration 3 hours
Event Description Due to a traditional
celebration that takes place every year on
September 21st, VoluntEars in Argentina spent 3
hours of their free time cleaning up the park
next to the office as a way of stretching a hand
to their community and protecting
the environment. The VoluntEars walked through
the whole extension of the park picking up the
trash filling over 100 bags by the end of the day.

Country Chile Project Refurbishing
Coaniquem Charity involved Coaniquem (Hospital
for children who suffer from burn damage) Number
of VoluntEars 15 Event duration 6 hours
Event Description 15 VoluntEars from the Chilean
office worked at repairing and painting the rooms
of this rehabilitation center and its playground.
The VoluntEars were divided in groups in order to
accomplish their mission in the established
hours. The activity ended with a big party for
all participants.

Country Venezuela Project Orphanage

Event Description VoluntEars from The Walt
Disney Company Venezuela visited Hogar Bambi in
order to renovate the place and bring fun and
magic to the children living there. The
VoluntEars created an entertainment area with a
TV set, DVD Player, Disney DVDs, toys and Disney
furniture. They also decorated the walls and
floors with giant stickers of Disneys friends.

Country Brazil Project Childrens Party Charity
involved Maria Albertina Home Number of
VoluntEars 60 Event duration 3 hours
Event Description VoluntEars hosted a party for
more than 300 children at the María Albertina
Home Shelter. There were plenty activities for
the children to choose such as storytelling,
dressing up as your favorite character, sports
and computer games among others. The VoluntEars
were given the possibility to choose the activity
to host, according to their interests and skills.

Country Argentina Project X-mas Party Charity
involved Orphanages from local community Number

Event Description VoluntEars hosted a Christmas
party for children who live at shelters after
having been separated from their families. The
voluntEars were organized in groups in order to
have all activities covered welcoming the
children, taking pictures and framing them,
hosting the games, entertaining the guests
dressed as clowns, serving meal and wrapping the
presents for the children. By the end of the
party the children enjoyed a tree lighting show
with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale
and Meet Greets with the characters.

Country Venezuela Project Mural
painting Charity involved Childrens Hospital in

Event Description VoluntEars in Venezuela
painted a Disney mural to be donated to a
Childrens Hospital in Caracas. They gathered at
lunch time in a special room set up for this
activity and finished the task in a few hours.

Country Argentina Project Mural

Gutiérrez Pedro de Elizalde Number of

Event Description VoluntEars from the
Argentinean office were invited to paint 2 murals
that were later donated to the Childrens
hospitals Ricardo Gutiérrez and Pedro de
Elizalde. The invitation was for lunch time and
they were offered three days to participate. In
less than two days the job was finished.
Afterwards two groups of VoluntEars visited the
hospitals on a Saturday morning and hung the
murals in the hospitals walls.
