  • Then vote on this
  • Who do you hope wins the Superbowl on Sunday?
  • Steelers
  • Seahawks
  • I dont care I watch for the commercials
  • I dont care Im not watching
  • Football is stupid

  • Your Question How long would it take to walk
    around the whole earth?
  • 0.5 years
  • 5 years
  • 50 years
  • 500 years
  • 5000 years

  • Your Question Does gas have a weight? Now I
    want to know!

9
  • Your Question I understand that solids have
molecules that are packed tightly, but is it

  • Can you think of some other situations where we
learn about things we cant see?
  • -black hole, you can't see in that...
  • -The study of outerspace. Different galaxies and
black holes are not necessarily visible to the
    naked eye.
  • -The wind. You can't see the wind, but you can
see the affects of the wind. (i.e. branches
    moving, fallen trees, blowing trash).
  • -We learn about molecules as well when a drop of
water on a paper towel spreads throughout the
    towel.
  • -We learn about forces like gravity and
electromagnatism. We can study very small things
    indirectly like electrons and photons.
  • -We cannot see sound when we are listening to
music. We hear the music and can find out where
it comes from but we don't see the sound waves
    travelling through the air.
  • -We learn about the earth and the layers inside
the earth. We can't see the core or the mantel
but we still try to learn about it.
  • -We can't see gravity but we know that
something's holding us down and making us weight
more than we ought to weigh. )
  • -We can't see microwaves. Yet, my food is always
hot, so I trust that they're there.
  • -We learn about large amounts of money, and we
can't see it. We also use numbers such as
infinity and Pi that we can't really visually
    see.
  • -One situation would be jsut reading books. It
is a completely different subject matter but when
you read about fiction you have to develop
pictures and ideas in your head.
