Conclusions

• Spring-sown oat (110 lb/A) as a killed cover
  crop mulch between BPM may help retain soil
  moisture and increase fruit cleanliness in
  pumpkin production.
• Annual medic when left as a living cover crop
  mulch in BPM competed with pumpkin and reduced
  pumpkin yield.
