Thoughts On Islam While Preparing This Briefing

• Since childhood one thing that has struck me
  about Muslims are the different ways in which
  they interpret and live their religion.
• Though there may be said to be certain
  divisions of Islam (e.g. Shia and Sunni) and a
  number of schools within these there are also
  various competing sects claiming to be the unique
  representatives of Islam.
• It is not possible therefore to paint Islam
  with a single brush.
• I leave Muslims to argue amongst themselves as to
  what they shall do with the original Islamic
  vision and judging from what I have read in all
  the original Islamic texts multiple sources
  experiences in the war on terror the internet
  they are already doing that with great passion.

  want to make a few more things clear to our
  Muslim audience
• I am not here to be disrespectful to Islam or to
  individual persons beliefs.
• It is inevitable that when presented with
  uncomfortable facts that some people are going to
  get upset.
• This happens no matter what religious belief is
  being discussed and no matter how diplomatic
  kind thoughtful and respectful you try to be.
• For some Muslims any criticism of their faith is

• In many Eastern countries I would not have that

• It has a simple monotheistic creed without

• It appeals to the oppressed.

Islam Means Peace
The Myth Lesser educated Muslims and apologists
in the West claim that the root of Islam is
al-Salaam which is peace in Arabic The
Truth The root word for Islam is al-Silm
which means submission or surrender. There
is no controversy about this meaning among
Islamic scholars! Submission and peace can be
very different concepts even if a form of peace
is oftenbrought about through forcing others
into submission. In truth the Quran not only
calls Muslims to submit to Allah it also
commands them to SUBDUE people of other
religions until they are in a full state of

Introduction to Basic Facts of History

• Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since
  2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common
  symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as
  2000 BC.
• In Mecca there was a god named Hubal who was
  Lord of the Kabah. Hubal was a moon god.
• One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of
  moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the
  Kaba about 400 years before Mohammad.
• The crescent moon is on top of every minaret at
  the Kaba today and the central symbol of Islam
  atop of every mosque throughout the world
• Four hundred years before the birth of Mohammad
  one Amr bin Lahyo ... a descendant of Qahtan and
  king of Hijaz had put an idol called Hubal on
  the roof of the Kaba.
• Hubal was one of the chief deities of the Quraish
  before Islam.

• 7. The moon god was also referred to as
  al-ilah. This is not a proper name of a single
  specific god but a generic reference meaning
  the god.
• 8. Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to
  their own local tribal pagan god as al-ilah.
• 9. al-ilah was later shortened to Allah
  before Mohammad began promoting his new religion
  in 610 AD. Hubal was referred to as Allah.
• 10. When Mohammad came along he dropped all
  references to the name Hubal but retained the
  generic Allah.
• 11. Mohammad retained almost all the pagan
  rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined
  them in monotheistic terms.
• 12. Islam is derived from paganism that once
  worshiped a moon-god. Although Islam is today a
  monotheist religion its roots are in paganism.

2 Different Spiritual WorldsYahweh and Allah

• Before Islam came into existence the Sabbeans in
  Arabia worshipped the moon-god Allah who was
  married to the sun-goddess.
• Common practice to use the name of the moon-god
  in personal names in Muhammads tribe.
• Allah was a pagan deity in pre-Islamic times.
• An Allah idol was set up at the Kabah along with
  all the other idols of the time.
• The pagans prayed towards Mecca and the Kabah
  because that is where their gods were stationed.
• The idol of their moon god Allah was at Mecca
  they prayed towards Mecca.
• The worship of the moon-god extended far beyond
  Allah-worship in Arabia. The entire fertile
  crescent was involved in moon-worship.
• The early success Islam had amongst Arab groups
  that had traditionally worshipped Allah the
  moon-god.
• The use of the crescent moon as the symbol of
  Islam and which appears on dozens of flags of
  Islamic nations in Asia and Africa and surmounts
  minerets and mosque roofs is a throwback to the
  days when Allah was worshipped as the moon-god in
  Mecca.

• All the major religions have different concepts
  of deity.
• Yahweh Allah Vishnu and Buddha are absolutely

  no reason therefore to accept the idea that

  are monotheism - does not prove that the god they
  worship is the True God.
• A similar pagan reformation occurred in ancient
  Egypt when Pharaoh Akhenaton decided to become a
  monotheist by making the sun-god Aton the one and
  only true god of Egypt persecuting and outlawing
  worship of all the other gods of his nation.
• There are four interesting parallels with Islam
  here
• (a) Akhenaton made the male sun-god the one and
  only god of Egypt while
• (b) Muhammad made the male moon-god the one and
  only god of the Arabs. Neither god remotely
  resembled Yahweh the God of the Bible both
  being pagan deities borrowed from polytheistic
  religions. And there is a third parallel
• (c) Though technically monotheistic in practice
  Akhenaton remained a god himself. Though never
  calling himself a god Muhammad certainly
  accrued many of the attributes of godly power as
  we shall see in subsequent articles. Finally
• (d) Akhenaton used as a symbol for his god the
  Ankh Cross consisting of a solar disk atop a Tau
  cross whilst Muhammad retained for Islam the
  pagan crescent moon symbol of the moon-god Allah.
  
• Is this all a fanciful far-fetched conclusion
• Is all the vast array of scholarly information
  available on Allah simply a conspiracy by evil
  Westerners to discredit Islam Or might what you
  have read be the truth
• Are you honest enough to continue researching the
  origins of Islam further
• Are you honest enough to admit that you might be
  wrong and that the truth about God lies
  elsewhere
• The purpose of this briefing has not been to
  prove Christianity but simply to examine Islams

• Islamic Calendar (Lunar Calendar)
• A lunar calendar the months of the Islamic
  calendar started when the first crescent of a New
  Moon was sighted.
• The solar year is eleven to twelve days longer
  than the lunar year so Ramadan for instance

• The first day of Ramadan in 2005 is October 4th
  while the first day of Ramadan in 2006 is
  September 17th.

• Muhammads frustration and rage became evident
  with the rejection by his Quraysh brethren in
  Mecca who reacted disdainfully to his prophetic
  call and refused to give up their gods.
• Muhammads Uncle Abu Lahab rejected his message.

  language that has been preserved in the Quran
  the holy book of Islam May the hands of Abu
  Lahab perish! May he himself perish! Nothing
  shall his wealth and gains avail him. He shall
  be burnt in a flaming fire and his wife laden

  (for speaking against Muhammad) Abu Afak (120
  year old murdered in his sleep for objecting to

• Bint Marwan had 7 children satirized Muhammad in
  her poetry. One evening while laying with her
  children she was murdered by one of Muhammads
  followers in her sleep. After assassins
  returned to Muhammad he declared You have

  with the rascal Afak and getting rid of Marwans
  daughter.

• Ishaq 433-437 Tab VII 151-158 Arabs from the Abu
  Bara tribe ambush some Muslims killing most of
  them. The Prophets companion Amr retaliates and
  kills two men from the wrong tribe the Banu
  Amir. Muhammad ask the Banu Nadir Jews to pay
  blood money. They agree. Allah tells Muhammad
  that the Jews want to kill him. After the
  meeting Muhammad says Islam has wiped out the
  old covenants. Prepare for war.
• Ishaq VII 159 Ishaq 438 Muhammad besieged the
  Banu Nadir Jews for 15 days. In return f
