MTV Dance is one of eight sections under the MTV
Umbrella and can be found on the following
address http//www.mtv.co.uk/mtvdance/ Typical
Artists/Bands that currently feature heavily on
the channel include the Pussycat Dolls, Madonna,
Gorily, Girls Aloud and many more. The channel
appears to be aimed at teenagers and people in
their twenties - typical indications of this are
the type of adverts featured on the TV shows and
on the MTV Dance web site - these adverts such as
Clearasil and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - are
intended at youths.

It is important for such a high profile company
to be interactive with the world using the world
wide web MTV have many websites for all the
different countries which it is shown in.. All
the websites are of a similar layout, they all
consist of the MTV logo which looks
professional. They often change in color and
style depending on the country.

There were too many websites which MTV owned to
actually discuss about so I mainly focused on the
united Kingdom
Looking at the United Kingdom websites it was
clear that the websites all had a house style.
The layout was very similar in all 8
websites. These screen shots show that the
menus are consistent throughout the pages which
is good.
