Evaluation

• Part of program application process
• Continuous process of analyzing and interpreting
  what is going on to determine effectiveness and
  efficiency of project
• Make changes and improvements to program
  throughout the year
• Helps determine whether project's goals and
  objectives are being met
• Valuable data for school board presentations,
  local news stories, show how FFVP is impacting
  students!!!

Program Coordinator Quarterly Update

• Evaluates the process of your program
• Helps DPI be accountable to USDA regarding how
  schools are running their programs
• Allows a school to look at the program in
  specific sections What is working? What is not
  working? What needs to be changed?
• Required report three times/year
• Due January 30, April 30, and June 30, 2010

Student Survey

• Created by Department of Health Services and
  Department of Public Instruction
• Administer before or at the beginning of the
  program to get baseline data and after to see
  what changes have occurred as a result of the
  program
• Gather information on students eating habits,
  especially related to fruits and vegetables
• 4th grade and above
• Not required but a great tool that has been
  carefully thought out and created for you to use

• Instructions for online version of survey (dates
  available, student access, getting results)

• All teachers should take the survey
• Gain feedback on program
• Use to improve future program administration
• Electronic Survey Only
• Available on the DPI FFVP website
• Mid-Year November 1 December 31, 2009
• End of Year April 1 June 30, 2010
• Results will be generated for you
