- Program Management Plan, implement, and
evaluate a comprehensive program of guidance,
including counseling services. - Supervise activities of clerical,
paraprofessional and volunteer personnel. - Assessment Help plan and evaluate the
district/campus group standardized testing
program.

- Maintain a standard work schedule BISD
DK(Regulation)-X - MS 7 ½ Hours per day(includes 30 min.lunch)
- HS 7 ¾ Hours per day(includes 30 min. lunch)
- Establish effective and seamless transition
periods for choice slips during the 5th to 6th
8th grade to 9th grade year Communication
8Expectations
- Must establish communication/bridges between
EL/MS/HS Consultation purposes,etc - Address parents concerns Listen to parents
- Attend all counselors meetings/trainings
Everyone is expected to attend - Train/maintain Student Plus proficiency
Technology use a must for everyone
9State Board of Education rules on general
responsibilities of school districts (TAC, Title
19, Part II, Chapter 75.2)
- Every effort should be made to relieve counselors
of extraneous tasks so that they may
appropriately meet their responsibilities to
consult and counsel with students as to their
individual educational needs, goals, and aims.
