INTRODUCTION
METHODS
Use the ARROW KEYS to move poster elements up,
down, right and left. Hold down the SHIFT key as
you drag with the mouse to move a poster element
only up/down OR right/ left. EASY WAY TO MAKE A
COPY Hold down the CONTROL key as you drag with
the mouse to get a DUPLICATE of the poster
element. By using the hints above, you will not
run as great a risk of getting poster elements
out of column alignment.
This file is for your use in preparing a research
poster with four columns of material. Each column
will be defined as 10 wide. You will trim your
poster pieces along the dotted lines after your
poster is printed out. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING
ELSE SAVE THIS FILE WITH A NEW NAME! Next,
click and drag with the mouse to highlight the
text you want to replace, starting with the
authors names. Your new text will reflect the
font size and weight of the text in the template
file.
Use text boxes to enter in text (insert tab, then
select Text Box) Graphics can be imported by
using the Insert tab, followed by
Picture.from fileand browsing to find your
file of interest. It will import into the middle
of the poster, but you can then drag it to your
favorite location.
