Introduction to QuoteWerks

• QuoteWerks allows companies in every industry to
  create detailed quotes with speed and efficiency.
  If you want to save time and money when quoting,
  selling, ordering, and purchasing products and
  services you need QuoteWerks.
• It Integrates seamlessly with contact managers
  like ACT!, GoldMine, Maximizer, Outlook,
  salesforce.com, SalesLogix, and TeleMagic
  eliminating the need to re-type customer
  information. QuoteWerks also has it's own
  built-in contact database.

• Support for over 200 separate product/service
  databases

Bundles

• You can create a bundle that includes all the
  items that you want to quote together and you can
  specify details like the quantity of each item
  that should be included in the bundle.
• With a bundle created, the next time you need to
  add that group of items to the quote, you can
  simply select the bundle, and all the items in
  the bundle will be added to the quote.
• This saves you time by not requiring that you
  find and select each item, and it ensures that
  you will not forget to remember some of the items
  that are supposed to be in the bundle.

Configurator

• The QuoteWerks configurator is used to simplify
  the quoting process for sales representatives.
  The configurator will walk a salesperson through
  a step-by-step process of building the quote.
• The configurator ensures that the salesperson
  will not forget any steps, and lowers the
  experience level required by the salesperson
  since the configurator is guiding them through
  the selections.

Required, Optional, and Substitute Items

• Required Items
• You can define that a picture frame item
  requires a matting item and a glass item. When
  this picture item is added to the quote, the
  required items are automatically added to the
  quote with it.
• Optional Items
• You can also define items that are options
  for the picture frame item like a two color
  matting backround item.
• Substitute Items
• You can also define items that are
  substitutes for the picture frame, matting or
  glass.

Latest or Best Pricing

• The QuoteWerks Refresh with Latest Price feature
  will refresh the prices of the items in the quote
  with the current prices.
• Whether the price of the product increased or
  decreased, QuoteWerks will prompt you to decide
  if you want to pass the profit/loss on to your
  customer, or absorb it yourself.
• The QuoteWerks Refresh with Best Price feature
  will search all the vendor product databases to
  find the vendor that has the lowest purchasing
  price for each of the items in your quote.

Printing your quotes

• QuoteWerks enables you to completely customize
  the printed look of the quote with our layout
  designer, and create different print layouts for
  different types of quotes. In your layout, you
  can

• Add Pictures

• Add Formulas
• Additionally, you can create formulas for leasing
  calculations, and other complex calculations.
• QuoteWerks also allows you to add cover pages,
  literature, and spec sheets to quote.

Email you quotes

• Quotes can be emailed using our built-in email
  client or by automating Outlook.
• The quote can be sent out in PDF or RTF formats.

Sales Rep Commission

• Tracking salesperson commission rates can be a
  tedious and time-consuming task. QuoteWerks can
  save time in this area too.
• QuoteWerks can be setup to calculate each
  salespersons commission in one of 3 ways.
• The percentage of the total sale
• The percentage of the total profit
• Use a sliding scale method
• Every month (or as often as you like), you can
  produce commission reports using the built-in
  QuoteWerks reporting features.

• The built-in QuoteWerks Report designer enables
  you to create reports on all of the information
  that is in QuoteWerks specifically

• List of the number of times a product/service has

Purchase Orders

• After you have converted your quote to an order,
  QuoteWerks can automatically create a separate
  purchase order for each vendor on your quote
  saving you a tremendous amount of time.

Security

• QuoteWerks enables you to manage the security of
  your data. Security features are especially
  important in multi-user network installations,
  and also in remote installations such as
  installations on laptops.
• The QuoteWerks administrator can specify who can
  view, modify, and delete each salesperson's
  quotes.
• The QuoteWerks administrator can also specify
  individual access rights for each user to limit
  their ability to perform tasks like deleting
  products from the product database, modifying
  print layouts, and many more.
• These security rights are centrally maintained,
  and can also be enforced on laptop installations
  of QuoteWerks.

Accounting Links

• QuoteWerks has optional links to QuickBooks and
  Peachtree accounting software, and also has an
  Open Export Module that can be used to export
  QuoteWerks orders to other accounting software.
• These links are designed to further save time by
  eliminating the need to re-type order
  information.

Customize QuoteWerks

• The columns that you see on the quote can be
  customized to your preference.
• You can change the order that the columns are
  displayed in, and you can rename the columns.
• QuoteWerks also has built in custom text fields
  for both the Document Items tab (per product) and
  Custom Tab (per quote)
• 10 custom text fields

• Our API is a powerful new way to extend the
  functionality of QuoteWerks by creating custom
  applications that perform any specialized task
  you need by reading and writing information to
  the active QuoteWerks quote.
• You can create an application that analyzes the
  quote totals, and the items on the quote to
  provide your customer with lease payment options.
  Once the user selects an option, the details can
  be written back to the quote.
• You can create applications that analyze the
  content of the quote to perform validation and
  checks that normally would require a supervisor
  to review.
