Introduction

• Today teachers are trained to differentiate
  classroom instruction
• A lot of attention is focused on students with
  disabilities, but we must not neglect the gifted
• Programs for the gifted may be limited or
  nonexistent in some schools
• Onus is on the teachers to
• Recognize giftedness
• Identify individuals as gifted
• Understand unique personality and behavioral
  issues
• Challenge and stimulate the gifted students
• Ive researched 20 websites that can help

  comprehensive starting point for learning more
  about helping gifted students
