  • Claim Service Representative uses the Auto-Coder
    embedded in the UI application to code and
    classify claimant.
  • Auto-Coder returns the proper code based on the
    claimants work description.
  • Code is matched against the open RI job order
    file.

  • Claimant enters his/her work description.
  • Auto-coder returns 5 possible selections.
  • Claimant chooses appropriate title.
  • All Internet claims are run in batch mode and are

  • Employers enter job openings using the DLT Web
    Site.
  • All open job orders are filtered through the
    Auto-Coder for accurate ONet codes.
  • The newly assigned code is then matched to
    claimants occupational code.

  • Workforce Development Staff assess claimants who
    have been matched to jobs.
  • Claimants with barriers to employment are
    referred to additional supportive services.
  • Staff do follow up with the customers.

  • Claimant will call an IVR system and report the
    results of job referrals they received that week.
  • System will automatically enter information into
    staffs case management system called Americas
    One Stop Operating System.
  • Automation will alleviate data entry and give
    staff the opportunity for more follow up.

  • REA Staff will refer participants to services as
    appropriate.
  • REA staff will encourage participants to take
    part in organized activities .
  • REA staff will invite participants to Job Fairs
    directed at high growth, high demand occupations.

  • Claims with a return to work date are verified
    with employer.
  • If return to work date cannot be verified
    claimants are notified that they must be actively
    seeking full time employment.
  • Adjudication is scheduled for claimants not
    looking for work.

  • 2 Call Center Staff Members will visit netWORKri
    Offices on a weekly basis to gather insight into
    the services offered through the department.
  • Staff will learn the value of proper coding and
    classifying claimants occupations to ensure
    better job matches.
  • Call Center Staff will receive assistance in
    completing a resume and discover the importance
    of conducting a suitable search for work.
