When Does It Start?
  • Effective with the final December 2006 payroll
    cycle which includes the following weeks
  • December 18-22
  • December 25-29

What Are The Exceptions?
  • Regular hours up to 40
  • Overtime (hours over 40)
  • Vacation
  • Sick Leave
  • Bereavement Leave
  • Jury Duty
  • Military Leave
  • Reduced Schedule (Dock in Pay)
  • Holidays are NOT considered exceptions

Things to Remember
  • Employee reporting only
  • Reporting must be completed in a single session
  • There is no supervisor approval in this
    application
  • Supporting documentation from supervisor required
  • Weekly overtime report
  • Dock in pay report
  • Payroll cycle ends on Sunday at midnight each
    week
  • Timesheet due no later than 400 p.m. on Monday

Overtime Law
  • Hours worked in excess of 40 per week
  • Overtime payment equal to one-and one-half times
    regular hourly rate
  • UDs work week
  • Begins Monday at 1201 a.m.
  • Ends Sunday at midnight

Compensatory Time
  • Legal only if time off is taken during the same
    pay period worked
  • Compensatory time must equal one and one-half
    times the number of overtime hours worked
  • Compensatory time may not be accrued from one pay
    period to the next

  • Only hours actually worked count
  • Excluded
  • Holidays
  • Vacation
  • Sick Leave
  • Other leaves
