12 hour or casual time is used to talk about
daily life and at what time events happen. When
do you use it? If someone asks you what time is
it and you look at your watch. The environment
around you tells you logically if it is a.m. or
p.m.

In 12 hour time we use three prepositional
phrases to indicate the time passage between a.m.
and p.m.de la mañana in the morningde la
tarde in the afternoonde la noche in the
evening
