  • Precautions
  • Do not overload your trailer hitch. It can lead
to serious accidents and vehicle damage.
  • Consult with a professional trailer hitch
installer if you are unsure about the strength of
your trailer hitch. Do not confuse weight
ratings marked on towing accessories with the
    weight of your trailer hitch.
  • Choose a sturdy hitch which has a number of
accessory options. All racks for trailer hitches
    require a sturdy hitch.
  • Always check for flexing of the hitch. Too much
flexing is dangerous. It can cause load
    instability.
