DECORATIVE CORNERS
  • Paint each of the decorative corners and allow to
    dry.
  • Foam brush the glitter glue over the paint on the
    corners and apply the glitter. Allow to
    completely dry.
  • Add the grand adhesion glittered flower stickers
    and the punched scrolls to decorate the corners.
  • Complete the corners with an embossed sentiment
    sticker.
  • Add the corners to the box after it is completely
    finished. This step should be completed at home
    to allow for safe travel of your shadowbox.

PREPARING THE BOX
  • Gently remove the bottom divider from the middle
    section of the box.
  • Adhere this divider into the first section of the
    box, creating three sections on the left side of
    the box. Use the journaling card from Panel 3 as
    a guide for the placement of the divider. The
    journaling card should fit snug into the bottom
    panel on the left side.
  • Adhere the strips of the stripe patterned paper
    together and adhere these to the outside of the
    box, center the patterned paper on the box,
    leaving a small white border showing above and
    below the paper.
  • Cut the navy dot paper into strips. Trace each
    side of the bottom area of the box around the
    scallops and cut out. Adhere these strips
    individually onto the box, leaving a white border
    on the outside edge.

PANEL 1
  • Adhere patterned paper to background of panel
    with foam tape
  • Adhere journaling card to center of background
    with foam mounting tape
  • Thread embroidery floss through tag and attach to
    right side of journaling card
  • Cut the journaling tag in half and adhere one
    half to the bottom left corner of journaling card
  • Add an embossed sentiment sticker and two self
    adhesive pearls
  • Complete the panel with a photo

PANEL 2
  • Adhere the patterned paper to the base of the
    box.
  • Apply foam mounting tape to the back of the tag.
    Add the journaling tag die-cut to the center of
    the tag with a layer of foam mounting tape.
    Adhere the white lace across the tag and trim it
    off at the edges.
  • With foam mounting tape, adhere the chipboard
    word Love.
  • Tie a piece of the seam binding tape into a knot
    and glue at the base of the hole in the tag.
    Fold the remaining piece of binding tape in half
    and adhere to the back of the grand adhesion tag
    sticker.
  • Attach the grand adhesion tag sticker to the
    bottom right
  • corner of the tag.
  • Gently bend the wings of the butterfly punch and
    glue it to
  • the letter O.
  • Remove the backing from the foam tape and adhere
    the tag
  • to the center of the box panel. Add a small
    photo to the
  • grand adhesion sticker.

PANEL 3
  • Cut the journaling card to fit evenly into the
    bottom left panel of the shadow box.
  • Adhere the chipboard flower to the right side of
    the journaling card.
  • Gently mould the two small punched flowers and
    adhere to the stem of the chipboard flower.
  • Add a self adhesive pearl to the center of the
    chipboard flower and one to the center of the
    letter I on the journaling card.
  • Complete this panel with a photo and then add
  • an embossed sentiment sticker across the
  • flower stem with foam mounting tape.
  • Add enough foam mounting tape to the back
  • of the journaling card to bring it up to the
    same
  • height as the top of the shadow box.

PANEL 4
  • Remove the box and wrap the top and sides of the
    box with the patterned paper.
  • Cut the transparency in half to make it shorter
    which will allow the entire design to fit inside
    this panel. Adhere the transparency to the box
    with a liquid glue which will dry clear (try to
    apply glue to the darkest
  • areas of the transparency.
  • Glue the punched scalloped square to the
  • underside of the bottom right corner of the
  • journaling card. Adhere this to the panel with
  • foam mounting tape.
  • Adhere the journaling tag die-cut with foam
  • mounting tape to the center of the journaling
  • card.
  • Add a vertical photo to the panel.
  • Apply the grand adhesion tag sticker to the
  • bottom left corner of the journaling card.
  • Complete this panel with an embossed sticker
  • and glue the butterfly to the transparency.

PANEL 5
  • Stamp the background paper with the gold ink and
    the floral stamp to create your own unique
    background.
  • Adhere the background paper to the box.
  • Evenly adhere the two journaling pockets into the
    box, the bottom pocket is raised higher in the
    box with additional foam mounting tape.
  • For the top pocket, add thread through a small
    chipboard button and adhere it to the tag. Add
    the blue journaling circle die-cut with foam
    mounting tape. Gently mould the two punched
    flowers and adhere to the journaling die-cut.
    Add a pearl to the center of the flower.
  • For the bottom pocket, tie a piece of navy ribbon
    into a knot and adhere to the tag. Add the lace
    across the pocket. Adhere the remaining piece of
    the green journaling die-cut to the pocket. Tie
    thread through the medium chipboard button and
    adhere with foam mounting tape. Add two pearls
    to the green die-cut.
  • Complete the pocket with an embossed sentiment
    sticker.

PANEL 6
  • Adhere the background paper to the panel.
  • Open up the journaling pocket and remove the
    ribbon. Re-fold the journaling pocket
  • Adhere lace across the top flap of the journaling
    pocket.
  • Add two small pieces of foam mounting tape to the
    inside of the journaling pocket flap to raise it
    slightly.
  • Adhere the chipboard scroll to the front flap.
    Complete this area with a knot of seam binding
    tape and a pearl.
  • Complete the inside of the journaling pocket with
    an additional sentiment sticker and a photo.
  • Adhere the journaling pocket to the panel with
    foam mounting tape.

PANEL 7
  • Adhere the patterned paper to the background of
    the panel.
  • Using a glue that will dry clear, adhere the
    transparency onto the patterned paper, evenly
    spaced top to bottom and across the panel.
  • Add a photo to the center of the transparency
    with foam mounting tape.
  • Place small pieces of foam mounting tape to the
    punched scrolls and adhere them to the top of the
    transparency.
  • Complete this panel with a small glittered grand
    adhesion flower sticker
