Homeland Security Funding
  • State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) Provides
    support for emergency first responders, critical
    infrastructure protection, terrorism prevention,
    training and exercises.
  • Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program
    (LETPP) Enhance the capabilities of law
    enforcement to detect, deter, and disrupt acts of
    terrorism by providing funding for information
    sharing and analysis, interoperable
    communications, threat recognition, and
    intervention activities.

  • Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) provides
    funding to address the unique security needs of
    large metropolitan areas to enhance terrorism
    preparedness.
  • ITEP is intended to promote proof of concept
    efforts with public private partnerships to
    deploy state of the art information technology in
    support of homeland security.
