  • Over the past year, the Pekin Area Chamber of
    Commerce has used these tools as part of our
    marketing campaign to promote the City of Pekin
    to potential new residents.

Television Advertising Campaign
  • This advertising campaign has made thousands of
    impressions in Central Illinois influencing
    local and regional residents and opinion leaders.
    Pekin is becoming known as a community on the
    move.

  • Committee members are reaching out making
    presentations to influential regional groups that
    are important to our success

  • local businesses, etc.

Peoria Area Home Shows
  • Impressive display motivated show attendees to
    ask for more information about Pekin. Many booth
    visitors were actively seeking a new home or lot.

    of homes and lots

Pekins Street Banner Advertising Program
  • As the advertising campaign evolves, there is a
    need to make the primary theme more visible to
    area residents and visitors. There is also a
    need to generate funds to support the campaign.
  • The Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce will use
    street banners carrying the Pekin, What a
    Pleasant Surprise theme to fulfill those needs.

Promote Area Businesses At the Same Time!

Pekins Banner Advertising Program
  • Each street banner will be 2 feet by 6 feet in
    size.
  • Two thirds of the banner will contain the Pekin,
    What a Pleasant Surprise logo.
  • The bottom third of the banner will contain the
    sponsors logo.
  • All logos will appear in white on a red
    background.
  • The 2-sided durable and attractive banners will
    be available for sponsorship on a yearly or
    multiple year basis.
  • All this for a fraction of the cost
  • of regular billboard advertising!

All proceeds from this banner program will be
invested into the Chambers marketing budget to
continue to fund the Pekin, What a Pleasant
Surprise marketing campaign.
