  origin and development of human life.

  to Australasia

• Many species that were not found in Europe
• Lots of fossils

• In the Galapagos Islands
• 13 different types of finch.

Why would God create so many different species
to suit each island?

Survival of the Fittest
Its more likely that each species gradually
changed over a great period of time to suit its
surroundings!

Darwin decided that

• In each generation of a species theres always
  variation.
• The most valuable qualities are the ones that
  help animals survive.
• These animals are more likely to survive and
  breed.
• Their qualities will be passed on to their
  offspring.
• The animals without these qualities will
  eventually die out.
