  • The diversity of the church

10
The Diversity of the Church 28 There is neither
Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free,
there is neither male nor female for you are all
one in Christ Jesus. Gal. 328
11
The Diversity of the Church 28 There is neither
Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free,
there is neither male nor female for you are all
one in Christ Jesus. Gal. 328 11 where
there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor
uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor
free, but Christ is all and in all. Col 311
12
The Diversity of the Church Hippocrates describes
them (Scythians) as widely different from the
rest of mankind, and like to nothing but
themselves, and gives an absurd description of
their physical peculiarities. Herodotus describes
them as living in wagons, offering human
sacrifices, scalping and sometimes flaying slain
enemies, drinking their blood, and using their
skulls for drinking-cups. When a king dies, one
of his concubines is strangled and buried with
him, and, at the close of a year, fifty of his
attendants are strangled, disemboweled, mounted
on dead horses, and left in a circle round his
tomb.

The Unity of the Church 28 There is neither Jew
nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there
is neither male nor female for you are all one
in Christ Jesus. Gal. 328 11 where there
is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor
uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor
free, but Christ is all and in all. Col 311
15
The Unity of the Church 1 I, therefore, the
prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy
of the calling with which you were called, 2
with all lowliness and gentleness, with
longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in
the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one
Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of
your calling 5 one Lord, one faith, one
baptism 6 one God and Father of all, who is
above all, and through all, and in you all.
Eph. 41-6

The Unity at Palm Beach Lakes We're part of the
family, that's been born again Part of the
family, whose love knows no end For Jesus has
saved us, and made us His own, Now were part of
the family, that's on it's way home. And
sometimes we laugh together sometimes we cry
sometimes we share together heartaches and sighs
sometimes we dream together of how it will be
when we all get to heavenGods family.
