Traffic Arrangements on A558 from 22 July

• A single way closure is to be implemented on the
  A558 Daresbury Expressway from Thursday 22 July
  for 5 weeks.
• The closure will apply to the section of the A558
  between the Manor Park (Pitts Heath Lane)
  roundabout and the A56 Chester Road roundabout.
  The closure will prohibit eastbound traffic on
  this section of the expressway (traffic bound for
  Warrington and M56 junction 11).
• The diversion route is Daresbury Expressway -
  Central Expressway - Rocksavage Expressway - M56,
  from junction 12 to junction 11 - A56 Chester
  Road.
• Non-motorway traffic will follow the same
  diversion route to Clifton roundabout (M56
  junction 12) and then be directed along the A56
  for Warrington.
• Traffic bound for Runcorn and Widnes from the A56
  will still be able to travel along A558.
• The closure is necessary to complete the
  construction of the new roundabout on the A558
  which will provide the link to Keckwick Lane.
• The closure scheme has been developed in
  discussion between Halton Borough Council,
  Cheshire Traffic Police and Warrington Borough
  Council's Highways department.
• Plans detailing the route will be available to
  view in the following locations Amenity Area B
  Block Foyer, Coffee Lounge, A Block Foyer (near
  Science Centre), S Block office entrance, Tower
  Foyer and Hostel.
