• Has white buds on gray twigs.
• Produces lavender or grayish-white waxy fruits in
  winter.

  leaves. The berries are used to make candles.

• Woodland areas
• Grows best in dry, arid, sunny edge areas.
• Found in the Northeastern part of the United
  States.
